The Toscano Patern\u00f2 Park<\/strong> represents one of the most fascinating and historically rich naturalistic places in Sicily. Created on an ancient Etna lava flow, the park is a botanical garden of about 4 hectares<\/strong>, nationally and internationally recognized as unique example of a \u201cgarden on lava\u201d<\/strong>, capable of accommodating in harmony the Mediterranean vegetation<\/strong> and an extraordinary variety of rare subtropical species<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its uniqueness lies not only in its botanical heritage, but also in the cultural and civic vision<\/strong> accompanying him: under the passionate guidance of the Patern\u00f2 family<\/strong> and in particular of Stena Patern\u00f2<\/strong>, the Park has become a lived urban space, open to the community and new generations, with educational activities, environmental education projects, guided tours and artistic and cultural events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this context was born in the 2025<\/strong> collaboration with the\u2019Musikante Association<\/strong>, which gave birth to the format Jazz in the Park<\/strong>: a series of musical events designed not as mere concerts, but as immersive experiences<\/strong>, in which jazz music dialogues with nature and becomes an integral part of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stena Patern\u00f2<\/strong>, heir and guardian of this extraordinary garden, has imprinted the Park with a clear direction: to preserve a unique naturalistic asset, transforming it into a culture and community workshop<\/strong>. His sensitivity and dedication have made it possible to make the Park a place not only for conservation, but also for conscious and participatory fruition<\/strong>.
Jazz music, with its dialogic, improvisational and free nature, fits into this path as a tool for meeting, openness and shared beauty<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abBringing jazz to Patern\u00f2 del Toscano Park means returning music to its most authentic dimension: dialogue with nature and people. Each concert here will not be just a show, but an encounter that interweaves sounds, silences and landscape, creating unique and unrepeatable emotions.
As an artistic director and musician, I deeply believe that jazz-with its freedom and ability to improvise-is the perfect soundtrack for such a special place. The Voice of Jazz between nature, emotions, and territory<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Cultural Association Musikante and Patern\u00f2 del Toscano Park are pleased to present Jazz in the Park 2026<\/strong>, a review that combines the beauty of jazz music with the extraordinary atmosphere of one of the most suggestive places in the Etna territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From June to September, four concerts will accompany the public on an artistic journey dedicated to you<\/strong>, understood as an expressive tool capable of telling stories, emotions, and different identities. Four artists, four musical languages, four unique experiences immersed in the peace and charm of the Patern\u00f2 del Toscano Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival will kick off on June 21<\/strong> with the Giusy Balsamo 4et<\/strong> and the project Moonlight & Bossa<\/em>, a refined journey through swing, bossa nova, and great melodies of jazz tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The July 19<\/strong> will be the protagonist\u2019Antonella Leotta Quartet<\/strong> with Inner Song<\/em>, an intense and engaging proposal that places at its center an elegant and nuanced voice, capable of blending lyricism and jazz improvisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The August 29<\/strong> the Palermitan vocalist Simona Trentacoste 4et<\/strong> will present The Good Life<\/em>, a concert of great class that traverses the international repertoire with interpretative sensitivity and profound artistic maturity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The review will conclude on September 26<\/strong> with the Francesco Pantusa 4et<\/strong> and the project Adriana's Song<\/em>, an original production that intertwines singer-songwriter artistry with contemporary jazz sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jazz al Parco is not just a series of concerts, but an immersive cultural experience that invites the public to listen, share, and live music in a natural setting of rare beauty. It's a project that enhances the local area, promotes artistic quality, and strengthens the role of Parco Patern\u00f2 del Toscano as a meeting place for culture, community, and landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
