Ursino Jazz Festival 2018 comes to life in the court of Ursino Castle of Catania, a residence desired by Frederick II, Holy Roman Emperor in the 13th century and a symbol of the city's history. In this unique setting, the’Musikante Cultural Association guided by the drummer and artistic director Antonio Petralia bring jazz to the city center, weaving music, heritage, and community.
The festival – with the support of the Regional Department of Tourism, Sport, and Entertainment and the Municipality of Catania – featured high-profile concerts with Sicilian and national artists, receiving wide press attention and strong public engagement.
