Introduction and History.

The Musikante Association was founded in September 2008. In just a few years it has established itself as a prominent reality in the national cultural scene, with a particular vocation for the organization of live concerts in the field of jazz.

Accredited with numerous municipal administrations, the Regional Department of Tourism, Sports and Entertainment and the Ministry of Culture (MIC), Musikante carries out activities ranging from music production to cultural promotion, operating regionally, nationally and internationally.

Thanks to a solid network of collaborations with musicians and institutions, the Association now plays a central role in the dissemination of jazz. It is a point of reference for established artists and for new talents seeking a quality context to express themselves.

Mission and Vision.

The Musikante Association's mission is to promote and spread musical culture by expanding and diversifying its artistic offerings. It offers ensembles with instrumental and vocal performances, with a focus on jazz in all its nuances. There is no shortage of forays into classical, contemporary and avant-garde music. Special attention is paid to young people and emerging talents.

Musikante believes that music is a powerful tool for social cohesion, capable of breaking down cultural and generational barriers.

The vision is to create a dynamic cultural environment in which music-and jazz in particular-becomes a means of educating about beauty, inclusion, and sustainability.

Through its events, Musikante aims to provide an open space where artists, audiences and the local area can meet, dialogue and grow together.

Educational Activities and Training.

Education is a pillar of the Musikante Association's activities. The Association regularly organizes music workshops, including in collaboration with public and private schools, involving high-profile teachers.

The workshops are aimed at students in first and second grade schools. They offer paths ranging from music theory to instrumental practice, with a special focus on jazz.

The excellent results obtained confirm the effectiveness of these projects. They not only bring young people closer to music, but also guide them on a path of personal and artistic growth. They also foster the development of critical, collaborative and creative skills.

Musikante is also active in the Jazz Takes The Green, which promotes environmental sustainability in cultural production. The initiative pays special attention to reducing the ecological impact of events. Here music - and especially jazz - becomes a tool to raise awareness of environmental friendliness.

In addition, the Association adheres to the Italy Jazz & Wine, which enhances the encounter between jazz and Italian wine heritage. This initiative creates unique synergies between music and territory, offering valuable cultural and sensory experiences.
