Liberty in Jazz – Concert Season 2026/2027

Liberty in Jazz is the new concert season of the Musikante Jazz Festival hosted in the evocative setting of Villa Ardizzone in Catania.

From October 2026 to May 2027, eight events will build a journey through different expressions of contemporary jazz, featuring Italian and international musicians and projects that bring together experiences, generations, and musical languages.

The season opens on October 10 with Ellie Young and Roberto Martinelli Ensemble and continues with Brundo/Moriconi/Petralia Trio, Saso Popovsky Trio, Flavio Boltro meets APJ Sicilian Trio, Florian Arbenz/Greg Osby Quartet, Nico Gori Sicilian Friends Quartet, Samuel Blaser/Russ Lossing Duet, to conclude on May 22 with Stjepko Gut Quartet.

A program that confirms the commitment of the Cultural Association Musikante in the dissemination of jazz music and in the construction of a continuous cultural proposal in the territory.
