🌟 The project
The ensemble was born around the figure of Joseph Milici, considered among the world's finest interpreters of the’chromatic harmonica, an instrument that in his hands is transformed into a voice capable of expressing universal emotions. His art, suspended between technical virtuosity and expressive depth, meets the sensibilities of talented Sicilian musicians, resulting in a compact and versatile group.

The repertoire ranges from jazz to world music, from soundtracks that have marked the history of cinema to original compositions. Each concert becomes a sonic journey in which the harmonica tells stories of intimacy and passion, alternating delicate and poetic atmospheres with moments of overwhelming energy.

🎼 The concerts
The debut of the Giuseppe Milici Ensemble occurred in the summer of 2025, as part of the Catania Summer Fest, with a concert hosted at the Palace of Culture of Catania. An event that was well attended by the public and received a warm critical response, confirming the communicative power of this production.

The project represents a bridge between tradition and contemporaneity, with a deeply Sicilian identity but open to international musical dialogues.
