Trentacoste 4et's Christmas Concert closes Musikante 2025
The 2025 year of the Musikante Cultural Association, chaired and artistically directed by Antonio Petralia, closes on a high note with the Christmas concert by the Trentacoste 4et, a project led by jazz singer Simona Trentacoste.
After the performance in Catania at the Cristo Re parish, the concert makes a stop in Gravina of Catania, with a free admission replica scheduled at the Hall of Arts “Emilio Greco”, confirming the Association's vocation for the dissemination of jazz music in places of strong cultural and social value.
The quartet, formed by Simona Trentacoste (voice), Vito Favara (piano), Massimo Moriconi (double bass) e Antonio Petralia (drums), offers a repertoire that blends jazz tradition and contemporary sensibilities, focusing on interpretive intensity and quality interplay.
The Gravina concert also features the album “We are very interested.”, a bold and refined work featuring the participation of Massimo Moriconi, an authentic legend of Italian music, known to the general public for his countless collaborations and historic artistic partnership with Mina. The album is produced by the Musikante Association.
The event is held under the auspices of the Municipality of Gravina di Catania, Mayor Adv. Massimiliano Giammusso and Councillor Filippo Riela, and is part of the cultural programming path that is already looking ahead to commitments for 2026.
An appointment that confirms Musikante as a reality of reference in the Sicilian jazz scene, capable of combining artistic quality, planning and deep ties with the territory.
