The Bridge.
The project aims to combine and celebrate the charismatic figures of the two American pianists, Bill Evans and Thelonious Monk. These musicians wrote essential chapters in the history of international jazz, leaving a gigantic musical heritage for musicians, enthusiasts, and the entire jazz community, each with their own unique characteristics and approach. The sounds in “The Bridge,” rounded on one hand and incisive on the other, will captivate listeners. The revised arrangements, while fully respecting the original structures of these two geniuses, will meet on the "Bridge." It is there that we will seek analogies, highlight differences, and celebrate personalities through melody, harmony, and rhythm.
