The Battiati Jazz Festival 2026 – Notes in Theatre, promoted by the’Musikante Cultural Association with the artistic direction of Antonio Petralia, hosted the concert of Klaus Bellavitis Trio, one of the most elegant and refined proposals of the entire season.

Pianist, singer, and composer with great artistic sensitivity, Klaus Bellavitis presented the project to the public “New World”, an original work that weaves together jazz, singer-songwriter music, and contemporary influences into an intense and captivating musical narrative. Through original compositions and moments of great improvisational freedom, the trio accompanied the audience on a sonic journey rich in emotion, reflection, and poetic nuances.

The distinctive feature of Bellavitis's proposal lies in its ability to combine technique, elegance, and expressive depth, elements that characterize both his piano playing and his musical writing. The concert highlighted an authentic artistic quest, capable of engaging with the jazz tradition while maintaining an open outlook towards new forms of expression.

An active musician on the national and international scene, Bellavitis has collaborated throughout his career with important orchestral and chamber ensembles, developing a personal language that finds jazz a privileged ground for the meeting of composition, improvisation, and narrative.

The evening saw a warm public turnout, confirming once again the cultural value of Battiati Jazz Festival, a festival that continues to showcase high-profile artists and projects, contributing to the spread of contemporary jazz culture in Sicily.

A concert of great artistic intensity that enriched the festival's lineup, offering a refined and engaging listening experience, marked by the quality and continuous musical research that characterize the activities of the Musikante Cultural Association.
